Bman Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Howzit guys, Just bought me a new ride - full Sram XX kitted, was thinking about just taking my existing XT pedals accross - stupid idea?What pedals would you recommend? Keen on trying something new as I havent found these to be the easiest to cleat and uncleat - question what would compliment rest of groupset and bike without paying a fortune at the same time? Shot

Nimby Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Absolutely nothing wrong with XT pedals - they just keep working. Pedals get muddy, banged into rocks and generally mistreated - I wouldn't get too precious about them...

Try back it off a bit. Personally I use my favourite parts - regardless of whether I brand clash.

At least the XT's are two flat sides so if you need to take off on a hill with a powerful push you can without cleating in if your not, not so....
