It was disgusting to let that win slide out of our hands.

I just dont understand it.

we should have walked that one after 25 overs.

jislaaaaikit it sucks losing to the bloody aussies when we had the game on a platter. All square 2-2 would have been a little bit exciting. And specially since my new south wales cousins will be here this time next month.

All I can say is that Parnell needs a haircut.

I actually think he is halfway through the last one when he got the call up to come play today.

As the commentators said, 270 was a par score on the pitch. We didn't have enough runs. Miller went out playing a silly shot and the same can be said of de Villiers. I think our bowlers will get a lot of criticism for the result, but we were in a position to score 300, which would have given our (not full strength) bowling line-up a better chance. That said, Abbot was brilliant.

Some really dodgey fielding positioning by de Villiers in the final 7 or so overs too - they hadn't done their homework on Faulkner.

Abbott wasnt so food in his last over. It really slipped away with that over of his.

James Faulkner might be a bowling allrounder, but damn can he finish off from a no hope scenario? Klusener circa 99/2000 stuff - 34 off 19 was not even surprising stuff.

You don't have to believe me, just look at how often he's done this sort of thing -

The fact that the proteas were either powerless or hadn't done their homework is neither here nor there - panicless win by australia, which really hope becomes a big lesson for this proteas squad.

Royals needed 65 from the last four overs, but Steven Smith and James Faulkner catapulted them home with an over and a delivery to spare.

Some stats reflecting QDK and his talent

5.8 Number of matches per century for de Kock in ODIs. This is the best matches-per-hundred ratio for any of the 71 batsmen who have scored more than five ODI hundreds. Next on the list is Hashim Amla, who scores a hundred every 6.1 games (17 hundreds in 103 matches).

2 Number of batsmen who had scored more ODI hundreds than de Kock at the age of 21. De Kock has six hundreds, while Virat Kohli had seven and Sachin Tendulkar eight.
