The statistics of his de Kock's career are worth dwelling upon for a moment. Despite only celebrating his 23rd birthday in December, this was his 10th ODI century in his 55th match. To put that in perspective, nobody has reached the milestone at a younger age (Virat Kohli was the previous holder of that record) and it is as many ODIs centuries as Graeme Smith managed in his entire 196-match ODI career.

Miller is a spectacular talent, and could develop into a match winner. Imo he is wasted being used as a tonker low in the order. We need to make the most of his skill.

(Which is recognised in the IPL, he is on a max contract, $ 1.85 mil, same as MSD and co. AB is on $1.4mil contract.) He and Rilee will be our 3 & 4 when AB and Faf gets old.

Looking good at the moment, Eng in a bit of bother at 108/6

Stefan: "On the glass-is-half-full side of things for England, at least they've seemingly found a way to stop De Kock from scoring big hundreds..." Nailed it

Although i dont like counting chickens before they hatch...but that did make me chuckle..or is it cluckle

Had a good laugh at that as well.

Can't tell if Eng are playing very badly (sounds like it), and SA are bowling very well, or if this is a low scoring wicket (Wanderers - doubt it). Will have to wait and see what they get in the end and how SA fair.

262 all out. Surely we should get this fairly easily?! Ave score batting first on this particular wicket is 380 for the last 3 ODI's.

not easy when the nerves of spaghetti proteas are at it

Tonight saw the rise of Chris Morris. Not quite the next Klusener, but certainly an enforcer to be reckoned with. Morgan's captaincy almost won them the match, but with catches dropped that should have been held, his job was considerably more difficult than what it should have been. All to play for at Newlands!

England lost that and morris saved it for us. Drop catches.. Easy run outs missed... Poor bowling decisions at the end.... Really chuffed for morris... And tahir even.. I thought it was tickets when he came on
