Hey the nike shoes are rocking and i am a firm believer in the theroy and i am biking and running better with them now...

Wont be for a long time...there are a few custom shoes out ther like Biomax but they are around R5000 a set...

Prototype shoes? What a load of BS. They've been using those shoes in Ten Pin Bowling for years!smiley36.gif

Porn star' date=' how's it going with the Nike shoe prototype?

After reading your comments about activation of foot muscles i spoke with a friend who's from a professional dance back ground and now teaches Pilates - she was in total agreement; the stabilizing muscles in the feet often switch off when over supported by modern footwear.

When does Nike see the product hitting the market place? [/quote']

I have been told the same thing. I'm doing some weird Pilates foot exercises now to fix years of riding everywhere.

After two years of running around trying to find out why I have been injured looks like it was the stabilizing muscles in my feet!

What I would do for those Nikes!

Well, finally she is almost done. Only almost because I still want a Thomson stem and waiting for danlate to land with my brown Charge Spoon saddle.

Speca are:

SantaCruz Superlight frame with custom Cycleart paint job

Fox F100RL fork

Fox RP3 rear shock

XT groupset with LX chain and LX cassette

Token Rocket wheels (with cheap black skewers. Do not like the bling red ones)

Conti 2.2 Mount Kings

CST tubes

Race Face Evolve XC stem and bars

Thomson seatpost

SDG Bel-air saddle

Aerozine grips with Mr. Dirt bar end caps

XT pedals

Planet-X crinkle cut headset spacers (actually my favourite bit on the bike)

I don't know weight yet, have not had it to a bike shop yet.

That is a sweet looking ride mate! In this case the colour co-ordination and choice of parts (IMHO) has been done subtly so as to improve the overall appearance and functionality of the bike and not just to look 'bling'! Well donesmiley20.gif

my reliable and mostly used steed. 5 gears shimano but the cable/wire broke so I can only use one gear. It used to be my dad's tourer, now it's my commuter. It's a Peugeot and has the coolest bike-bell ever!

Seatpost gave me troubles, 3 of them bent until a friend made me a solid aluminum one.
