I commute all over the place and have been using the Deuter Bike 1 Backpack for a while. It is really comfortable, does not move around at all when set up properly (I have even used it a few times on runs). And it has loads of space. I use it when I go to the pool and it has plenty of room for towels and fresh clothes. I got it in cape town, from a shop somewhere in Century City.

I use a Deuter EXP Race Air

Decent size. Can take a bladder. The Air support system helps your back sweat less. As per the Deuter pictured above, it can hole a helmet. And also has a Rain cover.

I found it at Cape Union Mart for R299

Been using the Kway Meru25 for some time now and it is a good volume and fit. The rain cover that rolls up and fits under the bag works really well.

Highly recommend this for commuting.

What ever bag you choose do the following in store:

Open the bag and step inside of it to see how your shoes fit in.... sounds silly, but is essential!
