As you may have seen, we are running a Janaury Special on a Major Bike Service for R295 (including VAT, but excluding Parts and Accessories). This includes the full stripping of the bike, re-greasing all moving parts, an assessment of any parts that are worn and may need replacing (subject to a quote and go ahead from yourself) and a Bike wash. We have a fully equipped Workshop and pride ourselves on the service we offer. We strive to try and make cycling affordable to cyclists, we are open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday 09H00 to 18H00, Saturdays 09H00 to 14H00 and Sundays 09H00 to 13H00. The 2012 range of Girlie Ghost bikes are expected to arrive the first week of February 2012, but will keep you posted. Cycle Madness Manager Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Hi, how about some prices in things like standerd services, bleeds etc.. I have managed to put a few prices together on your request, a Standard Service is R295 (January Special, normal price R495), to bleed the brakes will cost R65 for both front and back brakes. The cable changes for the gears R70, which includes the front derailer and the rear derailer. Brake pads start at R195, but dependant on the pads used on the bike, Tyres start at R150 for Tubed Tyres and Tubeless starts at R595. Tubes start at R45 each. All prices are inclusive of VAT. I have to agree with Riaanb - you guys are perfectly situated for me so if the service/repair is great you will have a loyal customer - and I break a lot of sh*t! AndrewF Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Booked my bike in on Saturday along with a mate's. Justice seemed to know what he was talking about. He was also willing to negotiate on pricing. Even matched a price for a pair of Shimano shoes for my mate. Some good prices on bikes too. Scott Spark (XTR) for R18k, Ghost AMR for around R20k and a 10kg (Aluminium) Silverback dualie for R23k! You can see the store is new and their service bay isn't crazy busy (a good thing I think). Will post after I get my bike back, but so far so good!
