..Thanks also to the okes from Germiston Wheelers 2. Their wheelie instructions were epic.

Good thing you didn't try to imitate them. I heard a loud noise in transition and there was one of their guys on his back side, wanted to wheelie and lost it falling backwards. ( - but only after he got up and said he was ok. ;) )

That can only be the guys from the Zoutpansberg. There were three in the team with Air Horns .

They should've left it in the Zoutpansberg.

Just as I dozed off, this dude came past with the most annoying sound you can hear at 3am. It' not like the scorer auntie slept on the job and they had to wake her.

But it's all good, not like I was planning on getting any sleep during the event. Half our team put on their jammies at 10pm and told everyone to have a good night, see you in the am.(like at 6am)

Was there as a visitor, and I must say the vibe was awesome!!

Despite the wind and chilly temp closer to mid-night everyone just continued.

You guys are making me regret I didn't enter #sillypoop

Well done to everyone on the results!!

The supporters definitely made it this year! Thanks for coming through J! And bringing presents

Well done to Wendell for putting on a good event.

@ BigBen......Fissan paste and lots of it!

I am busy dictating (still cant feel my hands) a stern letter to Fizik about how their gobi has a shelf life and turns into barbed wire after a prolonged period of use.

Thanks for everyone's encouragement.

Well done dude! Thanks for the company, chats and chirps

Had to laugh at my wife when she said 'you got 2 hours you can still beat Brett, go now ....' - frikkin heck I was so sore it took a special effort to go out on my 'parade lap' to say thanks to the supporters ;)

BTW a whole tube of Fissan paste applied :D

Tumbleweed sorry I missed you. No doubt you heard us as we were the chirpiest team by far... Threatened more than once to shove that airhorn up Terence's butt, but never got round to it. T nose e, I love the sound of those hubs..., What I meant at 2:30 am was that the sound of three sets of Pro II's at speed sounded like an orchestra...

It was such a cool race(weekend). never once got held up in the single track as people where only to happy to let other through and never had someone half-wheeling me to try and get past.

There was always encouragement out one course and through the campsite. loved the vibe with the race track going through the camps and the folks cheering for the you on every lap.

thanx to the youngster (sorry i didn't get your name but so nice to meet a kid with great manners, didn't know you got them anymore) who was concerned after my mate Matt (@mattyEMD or backwheelbandit) hooked his barend on the bridge and got thrown off his bike. haha. Matt on his back on the bridge, glasses 15m away in the bush and Niner EMD in the river below.

the Youngster rushed off to get the medics (who luckily weren't needed) and then still took the time to come find us in the campsite and check on my mate. GOOD ON YA LAD.

@Patches ummm about the Naked lap. umm well with Matt outta the race after his crash my bro and i would look really strange heading off on a naked lap with just the two of us. Especially since we are brothers. dont know if we were far enough south for that to be legal. haha. (plus it was COLD :P )

Bennie you are a legend. you just kept cruising past with a smile on your face. and i was just sitting on my chair. haha I promise I did do some laps haha.

Another thing you must have made quite a bit of money this weekend as i was that as the weekend progressed more and more people "bought some real-estate" (fell) at Bennies Bend, as the trees bacame more and more debarked. haha.

Wendell thanx for a great event and see you soon.

dude you guys and your support crew are a must have at every race. i think i did an extra two laps just so i could ride past your campsite. was awsome thanx so much for the support. was great to have it there and out on route. you guys definitely get the team spirit award. (will have to organise something like that for next year)

We had a blast JC. We had some first timers with us and they soon joined in on the madness. Well done on your solo SS effort. Someone commented at the prize giving that we should get the drinking award... Strangely enough there was very little booze involved...
