Tiny K Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Its harvest time for us so not much riding for me till end April. Have our Italian directors over here so i have meetings from 11 till 8pm. Hoping to get on the bike 2 or 3 times a week. That is the reason i spend more time in the gym 1st half of the year. Don't want to be a fat slob when the lekke races start in September. You meant the flat easy races hey?

Any news on the ACTUAL CONFIRMED ROUTE?Did not scrutinize the route description, but is'nt the route described in the last PPA newsletter?See attached copy and paste. ROUTEAll routes head out along the R304 in the direction of Stellenbosch before turning left onto the Kromme Rhee Road and heading onto the R44. The 50km route proceeds straight over the Klapmuts 4-way stop before turning left onto the R312 and making its way back to the finish along the R304. The 72km and 105km routes continue onto the R44 and head up over the new Helshoogte Pass before heading back via the outskirts of Stellenbosch and Paarl at the Boschendal T-junction, Suid-Agter Paarl and Fairview Wine Estate. The 72km returns to the finish via the R312, while the 105km continues along the Voor Paardeberg Road before returning to the finish via the R302.

Also it'll make the route a little flatter going past there I won't complain
Cippo Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I would like to see anyone try and even jack a bike on Sunday. Im sure you won't find a shortage of cyclists jumping on to sort out the perpetrator.
