Give it up with a cool achievement, Seeker911... not just your DQ?

Ok. So lost loads of weight dropped from 96 to 83 and still on the way down. Came 8th in the old fart category in Xterra earlier this year. Did 94.7 in 3h23. Managed to complete at least 2 Olympic distance triathlons in under 3hrs. My daughter says I am a Spartan. So nothing extraordinary but in my own little realm I think I did OK.

I completed a marathon 26 Hansa's in one day endurance session two weeks ago. I think a few more will be on the cards this festive season.

When you've done too much LSD there's nothing like a case of beer to induce the landing gear thumbup1.gif

Even chowing acid on the IDT isn't enough to stop the boredom....

Yeah... Unless there was a nuclear fallout for 10 years and I couldn't go outside, I would not buy one...

My worst yet best race was Prestige Ultra a couple of years back, I had a decent swim, and 8km's into the ride, hit a pothole which shattered my front and back Zipp 404 tubbies, I could not ride more than 30km/h I was pedaling against a clack clack clack sound and heavy resistance, I decided the wheels were insured and i was here to finish, not back down, so i rode on, this half powered machine, cyclist could hear me way before I reached them LOL, with about 17km's to go my back wheel burst from a splinter chard of carbon going into it, I carried on riding on the damaged rims, when I turned corners I looked like a speedway racer sliding all the way from one side of the road to the other with no traction, but I was very stubborn that day and just pushed on, had some close calls. I woke the entire spectator crowd as I came in with my noise making machine, but managed to finish the ride in just under 3hrs with a total time of 5h37 for the race. Was a long hard slow day for me, over an hour more than usual, but I was dam happy for finishing. It was a better feeling than my podium moments.
