I would give my left testicle for that frame. 140 mm travel single speed. The ultimate bullet proof play bike. AWESOME! Btw what does the frame cost. Maybe I could sell a kidney or something...

The frame was approx R5800 on CRC (R6500 once landed)... but that is excluding rear shock.

whats happnin with this build?

Well... some more parts have arrived from CRC...

Brakes (Hope Tech X2 Limited Edition)

Wheels (Spank Subrosa Rims on Hope Pro II)

Tyres (DMR Moto Diggr 2.35")

The bike went in to get the correct shock mounting hardware fitted. Now just waiting on the drop-outs and new seatpost. (CRC sent via Royal Mail, so that may be a while)

I would recommend changing the cable routing, that design doesnt work well at all.

you mean the routing where the front end of the cable runs down towards the fork axle, and the back runs well off towards the rear wheel?

...or do you mean the part where we have it going between the front shock mount and the top tube.

I had to take my DH bike in to et the cable and hose routed, cos it means discnnesting the brake hose to do it properly... and I don't have the kit to bleed my brakes <_<

you mullet

by the rear shock, the hose cant compress into its self so you get alot of cable rub and flexing.

ill WhatsApp you a pic of what i did with the Jamis so the cables flex between the seatpost tube and the left side of the shock, it seems to be working well so far

It's a pity that the camera doesn't do the colour justice. It looks way better in real life!
