Riding in Suikerbosrand - questions

Can anyone tell me how many kays one lap of SBR is?

57kms - but that doesnt tell the story!

 

If you're doing 3hrs-3hrs30 in the 100km races you can expect to do 2hrs 30 - 3hrs in SBRand.

 

It was great there today - big blue sky, animals, cosmos -  & driving round in the car was a lot less bother than pedalling.

 

A bit windy/chilly on top, though.

Back from doing the gruelling SBR  - got there fine, thanks edman for the directions. It's actually pretty straight forward getting there!

Harryn - it is about 57km if you do the last loop.

So that's why I wasn't sleeping that well!!!!  I was dreaming about that first climb.

Never mind the first climb - that one before the last loop... the one where you cant see the top of the hill around the corners.. thats going to give me nightmares!!

Great ride today as always....never easy but one gets faster. The big guns did a 2 lapper today (not us!!) and a young lady called Ameteur rode a great long lap today with a great deal of poise....ride like that and you will conquer the Panorama tour girl!!!
