My average HR from last week Saturday's ride was 124bpm I still wanna get there for the start of the long route hey. Meet at 3am at the high school top gate for two repeats? Should be enough time or NOT!

Are any of you guys planning the same, or happy to stop at a water table and risk losing your bunch?

'Dale Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 I carry an extra 500 ml when race conditions are over 30 degrees. Sunday's weather is forecasted to be warm, not hot.

I did that for the Tour de PPA and rode the first hour without needing to drink. I checked my results from last year - did a 3:30 from H-I. Two bottles should be more than enough and I hadn't pre-hydrated before that race.
