I wonder if any cyclists get Golf or Tennis elbow injury from cycling???

The physio told me that I had golf elbow injury and I don't play golf or tennis. I only ride, but I did not fall in the last 6months. I am not sure if I got it from cycling or not???

I can't even carry suitcase or lift my hand up with a bit of weight...

I have the same problem in that I have to sit down when I pee because the doctor told me that I was not allowed to lift anything heavy. Please note though that I saw a Doctor for my problem and not a Physio.

Maybe go see a Doctor and get a clinical diagnoses rather than some guess work by a Physio.

From Wiki:

Studies have shown that trauma such as direct blows to the epicondyle, a sudden forceful pull, or forceful extension have caused more than half of these injuries.

I'd have look at your bike setup - make sure you're not "reaching" for the bars, or flapping your elbows to the side too much.

Good idea to see the doctor. Treatment options vary from giving it a rest, exercises, massage, topical anti inflammatories, cortisone injections to surgery. You want someone who knows his stuff to suggest what is right for YOU. That someone is not the Hub. Meanwhile, rub in some Voltaren Gel or Arnica where it hurts.

I better see Doctor soon, than wasting my money on physio....... I thought I pulled my forarm muscles and I had few acupunctures already, but not much improved...

Still a lot better than GOLF BALLS ;) :P
