bike for 12K (29er)

hi guys

 

i would like to buy a 29er -- im a weekend warrior doing the sani2c - but would like to use the 29er on rides at bottelary trails etc,,, i have about 12K to spend.. Any ideas..thanks!!

I guess you could get a new hardtail or a used full sus. I am also training for the San2c and riding a full sus. I have been thinking about switching to a hardtail for Sani though.

The axis looks like a great deal! If you don't care much for riding a big brand. Is Axis a probike brand?, looks like the same owner.

If I had to choose, I would go for the Merida Big Nine 900

The Merida is 10 speed, Spez Comp 9.

The Merida looks prettier to me personally but in the end, it is your choice.
