Someone should send HM a copy of the match analysis done on supersport after the game. The guys were spot on, our defence was awful and this up and under nonsense is a joke. They have a lot of work to do this week....

cudnt agree more... nick mallet was spot on when he analyzed the "game plan" of the bokkies! hw on earth can we rely on the bounce of the ball to win games! kicking the ball away after 2 or 3 phases of bashing it up and going no where with a flyhalf that takes no control of the game! we are seriously going to get school'd by the mossies and the all blacks...

We were nowhere at their breakdowns and struggled to get quick ball from our own breakdowns. Too many times they almost turned it over, without giving away penalties (in fact, we often became isolated and almost conceded more penalties for holding on!!). We miss Brussow more the HM will ever admit. Hopefully he recovers soon from injury. Potgieter was nowhere to be seen!! Bekker was weak on defense, and Jannie also wasn't firing on all cylinders. Hougaard and Morne just aren't up to par. Morne is too one dimensional on attack, and if it weren't for Frans Steyn at 12, things could've been worse. Pienaar I though was brilliant when he came on in terms of doing the basics well and keeping the opposition guessing at the fringes. Sarel Pretorius must surely be in the mix. And Goosen too after one or two Currie Cup runs. I can carry on and on .... very disappointing!!!

Well said Flymango. We played well for about 5 minutes in the game when we started getting good go forward ball but then that faded away. Every time we got over advantage line(not to many times) we could actually ruck over and secure our ball, but sometimes that ball just came out so slow that by the time the receiver got the ball the argies would be all over us.

Another thing that upset me was that they make it so hard for us to win a ruck yet we just give them their ball on a platter. We definitely need Brussow in the mix. Having 3 big ball carrying forwards is so predictable and it's not working either.

Lastly Morne Steyn needs to go. he needs to be kicking his kicks over every game consistently. His tactical kicking is also not helping much and I really hope Johan Goosen steps up and settles in at number 10. He is young and he can cement himself in the team for the years to come

I'm glad the Pumas showed some form.

Hope they can stun the Wallabies too, especially.

Honestly I don't think that will happen(I really hope it does tho) because the spoiling game the Pumas play is very predictable and team like NZ and Aus will figure them out quick. I do like the passion they play with and I also liked the way showed disappointment at the draw last night and didn't just accept the draw they wanted the win badly

Yeah, fabes, it might take a few seasons for them to really contest.

Here's hoping.

Hey listen they not embarrassing themselves. Remember when Italy first joined the 6 nations. It won't be long till they start being a real threat to the other 3 sides in the rugby championship Edited by fabes

And please tell me why do we still believe we can run over instead of around players. The latter calls for flair and brains. The former only calls for brawn. And in today's modern game we are all equally strong - in fact, I don't think the Boks' body position at the tackle is good at all at the moment so they actually run over us - too upright. Like I said, I can go on and on ...

Yeah coming from a rugby background myself one of my coaches always asked why run into the tree when you can run thru the branches. nZ is very good at that.

It's easy to say throw people out and pick new ones, but that's not coaching, that's picking," the Bok mentor said.

... Okay ...

Let's see against the rest of the Rugby Championship contenders.

Been coaching Morne for years. How long does it take?

you said flair and brains? in rugby. I believe they can't count, 10 guys in front of me, 7 to my side to which I can pass the ball. oH WAIT, I'll run through them all.. yEAHHHH WTF!!!!

I still say Peter Grant

I would've agreed with you up until the S15 semi's. Then I realised he also has a very one-dimensional game. I'll pick Goosen if he's recovered, or Jantjies even. Lambie's not a specialist flyhalf in my opinion but can play 10 off the bench.

Goosen yes!

Jantjies definitely!

Dunno how much longer the Bok coach will hold onto Steyntjie.

Don't see any shuffling at nr 10 soon.
