DJR Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 2 Teenagers on mtb's. It costs a little fortune - no diving or trip overseas this year but ....... I prefer to spent whatever amount on their bikes and race entries, etc. rather than to pay R20 - R30000 on rehab! Cycling is the best thing that ever happened to our family! I'm exactly there and agree 100%. Our selection of bikes now include a tandem, full suss mtbs and road bikes. Now one is keen on dirt jumping and have almost saved up enough without my help. I'll have to buy a bigger house with space for all the bikes soon. Best thing ever!
The_Break Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I can't afford this racing and all the drugs anymore. Doping and sports doctors are expensive enough as it is. I think the elite riders should be given a 50% discount so they can afford to be in elite groups.
