Ice ID

I would highly recommend getting yourself an Ice ID, especially if you ride on the road.  Thumbs%20Up

It's far better than those strappy things that you put a piece of paper into.  They just get dirty & the first time it rains the paper is ruined anyway.  I got myself some dogtags... not very feminine I know but atleast I won't be going to a public hospital if something happens to me Tongue

Also, their service was awesome... I placed an order for tags for my whole family before Christmas & Yael made sure the order arrived in time Star Clap

Well done to Yael (my big sister) for creating www.iceid.co.za in SA. I have been a cyclist for about 15 years (her inspiration Wink) and have to say.........it's one of the best and safest pieces of cycling equipment on the market at the moment!!! Thanks Yay, see you on the road

Sorry all, but just a small whinge on the ICEID tags. I bought 3 wristbands and one dogtag (that's quite a few 'ront' in anyone's language)...but...the wristbands (medium for my son and large for my hubby) are both too short. They both expressed "discomfort" with the sizing. The large fits me, but without much room to spare (and I'm a chick!).

The chain on the dogtag is VERY weak. At R176 odd incl postage, I feel a stronger chain (than this bathplug one) would be better.

Otherwise, it is a great idea and well worth the info it carries.

Hi,

Yael here, Gila's big sister and owner of ICE ID. Thanks for the

feedback and comments, it all helps! I would like to sort out the sizing confusion. Generally the medium size fits

most women and the large most men, but its not a hard and fast rule. Please contact me Pickles, I would really like to sort out your wrist bands, lets check what you ordered, I will be happy to swop your bands for bands that fit. There is an extra large band for your husband if need be.

Please email me at yael@iceid.co.za and I will do what I can to sort it out. I know that the dog tag chain looks like a bath plug chain (it is the look!!), but I can assure you it is stainless steel and the best you can get.

Please email me or call me on 082 567 0749.

Yael
