Reading the article it is clear that it is not a simple fashion or kit issue, as many commentators seem to suggest, but rather that clothing was used to "combine" teams to give certain teams and riders an unfair advantage or that clothing was perhaps used to deliberately create confusion?

Surely these clothing rules are there for a good reason and should for the same reason be applied?

Always insipring for a cylist to have won by having the legs, only to be dq'd because of clever tricks being played by team managers.

Would be real interesting to see how this will play out.

3 sides of a story

And the third side is that races should be fought out by, and won by, the riders. Not their nit-picking has-been managers. Nobody likes the daddy at the side of the field, shouting abuse at the ref.

Would riding in their 'official' team jerseys would have stopped them working together?

They wont be DQ'd. If anything, the UCI may hand out a few fines.

I agree and managers should work together for the benefit women's cycling!

MTN and Momentum had riders represented in the break - did Bizhub expect help from their team mates to close down the break.

But why wait till now to enquire about it, 2 months into the year and with 7 or 8 races already done like this.

I think that is where the sour grapes come in.......

They did? I thought Lotto had riders in the break?

Dunno who Bizhub expected to help them bring the break back, you'd have to ask them. It's cycling, and expecting anyone other than your own team-mates to work for you is daft.
