Beyond the XCO trail in question.

Give other XCO events a try as they are not all off the wall with respect to tech skills required.

What appeals to me is that the whole family can enjoy the event. Be it in a support role our activity racing/riding.

There is a sports class for those looking for a little fun and there are age and gender specific races. So dad can race while mom watches the kids and then return the favour when the ladies race.

I have only done once event to date and will be doing more this year. The CT bunch have even formed SS informal racing league which piggy backs off the sports class.

Little hairy had also proven useful in handing water bottles at each lap :)
