Some comments on here are really backwards. Steel is primitive, so unless you're going to have a wire rack on the back and a basket in front, glitter streamers hanging from the handle bars, back pedal brakes and it's pink.. Don't waste your time.

It's like saying " I've upgraded my Groupset from XTR to Alivio, because I like the raw feel of grinding cranks and seized deraileurs ." Makes no sense.

I like my Inbred in Steel thank you .. Ti would be my next choice though

In that case why don't you build your own frame?

Working in M/S is very easy. It will mean so much more to you when it's done.

oooo Mr Voodoo .... you have no idea how many times I have considered this, but my current workshop tools and equipment is VERY limited at this stage in my life so I would have to buy all the equipment first .... not a cheap start compared to just buying the frame.

 

But yes. Making and spraying up your own frame (Or a couple of frames as there is the trial error frames) must be fun.
