Mads Posted April 15, 2012 Share clearly has not ridden in CT winters yet. your leaving out the shades. tisk tisk. It seems like most people covered the gear you need. My biggest asset is double layered long finger gloves and covers for my shoes, But my best advice is to get a group of friends that cycles. T-Bob Posted April 16, 2012 Share 1st proper winer riding (road) in CT so I'm going to go with: - Giordana Silverline Roubaix 3/4 tights- Giordana Windtex Jacket- Burton baselayer(gotta do something with my snowboarding kit!)- Semi winter type long sleeved jersey thing from Rose Other bits- Guess I'm going to need some gloves?- Never worn shoe covers, don't plan on starting now- Buff? Jeez couldn't they make them look like something that wasn't left on the floor of a grateful dead concert? Nope not going to do that either. Cycling cap under helmet should do. What else?
