PYGA1 Posted August 1, 2012 Share I just got some feedback from Cliff, the frames are here and just clearing customs and should be done by friday and sent to us next week. Come on PYGA.............. Lets hope so, I am going on holiday at the end of next week and I will be super annoyed if I don't get the frame before the, lets hope they are worth the wait. Just built a Yeti BigTop, done 25km on it only. Have ordered the Pyga HT, plan to build it up same spec and compare the two.... Will keep my favourite one, other one will be converted to SS or Sold. I have my reservations, somewhat biased towards Yeti. First thing I'm doing is taking actual frame weight, always sceptical about press claims. The only reason I am buying the Pyga is because it looked super awesome, saw it at the first Thaba Toughee race. Monark Posted August 1, 2012 Share @ The V: 1700g for an alloy frame is light but not ridiculous. I believe that Morewood claim a sub 1500g weight for the 29er Kwela frame. Medium sizes (18 inch). Post actual frame weight and impressions when you receive it please. I was hoping that they would be proudly PMB but it seems not.... It is the 1st run so I can understand teething issues, it does still however get quite frustrating.
