J0KER Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 So Today I set off on my usual ride to Emerentia and felt my rear brake was useless and the Lever pulled through to the grip. So I popped in at Linden-Cycles to get an opinion on what I should do. Not only did one of the staff assist me quickly, But he offered to check the bike out and take it to the back. As I didn't plan on stopping there I didn't take any money. But before I knew it he had filled it up with brake fluid and cleaned my pads and disc, and all of this free of charge due to my shortage of cash! I continued riding afterwards feeling very confident that my brake was fixed. So thanx Stefan @ Linden-Cycles ! Will surely pop in again at Linden-Cycles to Pay for the service ! Very impressed and pleased to say that I will be supporting them in the future Spidermonkey, Francois Pienaar, cat-i and 2 others 5

Bought a 'new' bike and 150km later the chain was stuffed- i wander if it was ever new, anyway replaced the chain myself. When I took it for its first 'free' service they replaced some bearing in the jockey and charged me for it... this after 300km... Sorry, but not impressed.

niloc Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 not the place to go if you wanna buy high end italian gear but for everything else they are prob the best around. that place is like a train station on weekends. Joanne runs a top notch business, always a good deal avail and amazing service. would not be too surprised if they are not the busiest most profitable bike store in jhb (imo)
