Average Lums on lights being used

whats the average Lums that everyone is using on main light on handle bars?

1000 (Magicshine) according to the box anyway. Reading the online test results, probably closer to 600-700 lumens. Having said that though, I have been flashed by a few motorists when the angle is set too high

You can't adjust the beam. It is a fixed reflector. Mine is the MJ808. It does spill enought light to light up the sides.

 

If you want to save a few rand and wait a few weeks look at this MJ 870

 

I mount my battery pack under my bars in the middle.

Why wait a few weeks, whats happening re the MJ870?

What I meant was that if you order the MJ870 from Deal Extreme you will have to wait 4-5 weeks for delivery but you will save about R300

I tried that but mine kept touching my knees.
