any reason you want that over the KS-i950R or the Rock Shox Reverb?

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Fox fan and would sell my firstborn for some Kashima Fox 40's...

 

but to me the DOSS has a clumsy remote design, and it's not infinitely adjustable. The KS and Reverb both offer 125mm drop, have was simpler remotes and are infinitely adjustable within that 125mm. Not to mention they are probably easier on the pocket than the DOSS.

I use the i950R and love it. Never let me down since I've used it for more than a year and has no play whatsoever. Not bad when you consider I 'm over 90 kgs.

I know that after my Joplin and 50/50 experiences that I will NEVER buy anything with the words Crank Bros on it ever again. When it comes to droppers there's a choice of 2 IMO. Reverb and KS.

I am running a KS at the moment. Had a Joplin3 prior to that. I also ditched my Candy's in favour of Shimano SPD's. That Kronolog however... I just thought it looks nice hence the question if anybody has heard anything. I doubt very much if I would buy anything Crank Bros again either (OK except maybe for a set of Cobalts)

CB is crap they should rename the brand to CRAP BROTHERS - I took my Joplin seatpost and threw it in the dust bin after 4months and countless repairs. IT WAS THAT BAD.

Yup. I've got a joplin 4 on my AM bike and it is just k@k. My mate has a Reverb and he raves about it.

Yep, better off getting the FOX one. Also theres the RockShox Reverb. But yes you're right, Crank Bros stuff doesn't usually get good reviews.

It doesn't. Still attached to the seatclamp so will move up and down with the seat.

Yip. Form over function. New Kronolog does solve some of the Joplin's issues, but nearly all of them. Never again.
