Hi all

Went ploughing with my bike down Tokai yesterday and in the process managed to pull the lever and ball link of my Tekro Auriga Pro's out of the piston socket.

There seems to be a rubber type seal, with a Cir-Clip that holds the piston rod ball linkage on the piston, which has stretched and there is now play in the lever after I popped the ball back in.

Any idea where I could get one of these seals, or has any one got one?

(Pic of the part thanks to google. think its the comp version though)

A coincidence you ask as I am trying to find some new parts for my brake levers (needs new bushings or something, too much play in the lever, it rattles and drives me nuts!). I sent an email to Lionel from Omnico yesterday so lets hope when RSA reopens on Wednesday there is good news!

They are very much service orientated. I sent them a mail via their website and received a very promp reply via email and a telephone call from one of their sales staff too.

Thanks guys. I removed the cir-clip and found that its not a seal but only a steal washer that keeps the rod in place and it was flared. I just removed the washer and hammered it flat on a piece of granite, replaced it and not it holds better than before!

@mojoman - AFAIK you can only get service kits for the Aurigas, not rebuild... that said, if you do manage please let me know. If you don't come right I've got a set that can be stripped for spares.

Thanks. Am looking at just buying another set, mine have done well over 10,000km and the only problems so far are loose levers that rattle around.

Desperately looking for a back U-shaped handlebar clamp piece thing (the u shape that the two bolts go through to tighten to the bars). Have a brand new set wanted to donate to a kid's bike, but just missing this piece! Any chance u could help out?
