So I just bought myself a 2nd-hand MTB (GT Avalanche 2.0) from Avron. I stay in Greenpoint, and know there's a trail of sorts at the top of Glengariff - on the Table Mountain thread that looks like a walking trail. Is that right? (I've seen a pic where it seems Hairy was on it one morning.)

If I ride on it, what's the worst that could happen?

Or where else is good for a noob?

IVe run that trail a few times and it is not very busy - dout anyone would cause a stink if you rode there.

R3000.00, with a service from BMC thrown in. Pretty good nick, but with just enough mountain cred scratching.

Do you seriously bat for the other team, udderwise maybe think about revising your topic title or risk being associated as that batter for the other team....

As per your question, just ride there its Africa and all they can do is chase you away

Actually this is not such a winning stance. Kandui is doing plenty to try and get the mountain park people to allow cycling in more areas. If this is a sensitive area it wont be cool for those efforts...

Ah no, man...

It's dusty and there's lots of tree stumps and rock stuff you have to deal with.

And here I thought it was "Gay May" on the Hub, what with the Hot Men on Bikes thread. I was about to end all my posts with "Mwah!"

Good point, Tubehunter. I don't want to mess things up for everyone else. Well, not yet anyway. I'll do that when I'm the slow rider blocking the singletrack on a fast race.

Bwhahaha. That post did not go unnoticed. Hopefully Avron gave you extra mini pumps for when there's congestion....
