I would'nt wager any money on them delivering, its not justbthe cost of the entries, the flights and so forth, it is also the 10's of hours spent training and getting ready, but then for Mango uts all about the botom line, so rather than having happy customers its more important to make profit at all cost and to divert responsibility and accountability for screwing up, for them its only a few cyclist

He's posting from his mobile device which is clearly reposting the message every time he bumps it in his pocket, as this was probably the last thing he did before putting it in his pocketbag....

Either way it's K@K and I would be tearing parts of the counter off at the other end!

So we all pay our R200 axtra fees to fly our bikes with us to DBN to go do the Sani, so we arrive this morning just to be told by Mango that the plane was overweight and that they offloaded the bikes and that they will arrive on the next flight at 12:35, just to be called againat 11:30 to again be told that again the flight was over weight and the bikes wher'nt loaded and that now they will arrive in DBN at 17:00 this evening, and again, they could give us no assuarnce that the bikes would actually arrive, now everybodynpre booked there bike for starters, so I think it is past pathetic that they could be so careless and negligent, who knows wheter our bikes will even arrive, it seems that the bottom line far outweighs the customer care, come on mango how come all the other airlines can get it right

That sucks bigtime. Man I can just imagine. I would be screaming at someone behind the counter.

ka ka ka....that's funny!!

Seems to be the MO for these small airlines...............how many times are their flights are delayed etc aswell when the mainstream guys (SAA and the gang) seem to be able to deliver....? Albeit at a higher fee.

Given the option now...no bike for the race or more for airfare....I know what I would have chosen. (yes, yes, in hindsight that makes me soooo clever!)

Hope it pans out okay tho....this must really suck.....

I will never understand this weight issue. People vary in weight.. Will a couple kg's for a few bikes make so much difference???

Volume as in space not LOUDNESS is what counts, weight is just a easier means to measure with. 25 bikes takes up a far amount of space in the cargo hold.

As far as actual passenger weights, they dont care because they make the weight n balance calculations using an indistry accepted standard weight for each passenger.

Also had issues the one time I used them. Fly from Lanseria to CPT with my golfclubs, no problem. Same luggage at check in for flight back is suddenly overweight and my handluggage is too big, ect, ect. R100 later = last time I use them!

If you book Mango, pay Mango and fly Mango it's one thing.

When you want to avoid all that and book SAA, pay SAA rates and get to the Airport only to realise your are on an SAA flight which is operated by MANGO it's even worse.
