MTB trails in northen Benoni (aka die plotte)

Does anybody know any nice routes in the northern regions of Benoni (aka die plotte)

 

I got a nice 25km loop there but not all is in the veld/dirt roads. i saw loads of mtb tyre marks on the roads so there is defenitly people riding there.

 

any routes ?

They seem to have walled up most of that section near the "quarry". Had some funs days out there back in the day.

We once did a 60k round trip from Atlasville through Bredel all the way to Bapsfontein and back 31k there 31 back - nothing technical, just through Mielie fields and plots.

Alas most of the mrb rides out Benoni way are dirt roadie rides

 

I have rides varying from 15km-100km that start in Benoni North and go out northeast avoiding the Irene and Bapsfontein trouble/hijakcing spots.

My accident was on a dirt road. I swear I'm allergic to non tech track.

Some nice trails out that way, stop at the brood plekkie for pannekoek and coffee/cold drink. As mentioned its mostly flat dirt road with some jeep and single track and heading towards KP there are some lung busting climbs.
