I need to get myself some bib short pant to tide me over until I can afford the Assos Mille I would like to get when I win the lotto.

Im thinking somewhere around the R1 500 mark.

What do you feel stands out at that price?

My next question is do you know anything about Velotex Red Label bibs?

I use to ride only Assos, thought i would give the Vermarc bibshorts a try, about 1.2k, and in all honesty they are equal in comfort to my Assos, less than half the price and twice as durable. dont Think ill be buying assos again.

That said if you order them order 2 sizes above what you normally wear,

mmm, yes, R1 800 at CWC... Thats close enough.

Any more?

Solomons could have better deals in Assos Uno.

Saw a medium Uno in Classifieds for 1500 - NEW of course.

Which Vermarc did you try?

Bought two of these, were supposed to be just training pants, and I was going to get a couple of new Assos panties for marathons and multiday events. These are so comfy I am just going to order a couple more of these. The only gripe i have is that the silicon lining is not as good as the ASSOS but you dont notice that at all.
