So i just come back from walking the last km of the stage ending in Metz. Absolutely flat as they basically come under the 1km flag with a nice long straight and no kinks in the road towards finish line. Road has just been resurfaced and is smooth smooth. Could be a slight chance of rain as its hot and humid weather for tomorrow. Could cause a few problems should the surface get wet as its really smooth. Going with Cavendish on this one. Will suit him.

No gummi cant sleep early when ever im here. u know what its like. Im ct the suns down at 17:30 while here only at 22:30. Messes with my head. i will have a British and Sa flag and misses will have a German and Sa flag. Come say howsit.

Another quick day then the hills. It gets interesting at last? Too early I think, IMHO we'll see lots of man marking and following but no attacks from the top 5. Maybe next Thursday? I hope I'm wrong.

It is a little difficult getting used to it being light at 11pm some nights.

Watching yesterday's slow mo, Farrar tried to get onto a Argos Train and he did not even have the racing line to do it.
