Ha.

You know, unless you actually do these things at home for yourself, you probably won't ever get to learn as a female rider. I really do appreciate people stopping and helping, but if you're a women riding by yourself, guys actually won't LET you fix things - I've had the pump taken out of my hands despite saying really no, fine, thanks for asking.

But I'll happily take a bit of sexism when it;s well-meant and comes from the heart (let's pretend that's where it comes from). Just make sure you fix your own at home so you know what the dealio is.

And yes I've stopped to help unprepared guys.

I helped a guy at the Parys Dirtmax with a spare tube once , and after the race he came to me with R50.00 , so there are people that do appreciate it, I also believe in karma , as being at the back end of the marathon events i partake in , we tend to be more helpfull to each other.
