Good morning guys. I must admit to feeling rather bad now. Yes, this was posted in jest but The Hub came through and I actually got given some good advice/opinions on a topic I felt was unlikely to be able to be advised on. I think it has shown that there really isn't stupid question when it comes to cycling and we can share information on any subject. I really expected to be lambasted from all sides for even asking. Thanks guys for restoring my faith in the power of a public forum :)

And apologies once again for taking the piss.

Back on topic, I was lucky enough to win a black and a white pair of MTN Qhubekacycling socks which I love and use whenever they are clean. Other than that I do have some "Falke" ones that are great as they feel far softer than some others.

The best socks are those ones that pull over your feet.

Wind sock if you are a pilot, and a knob sock if you're ... umm a knob.

You choose.

Damn, suppose I'll need to get myself a knock sock then? Any ideas where you get them? Not that I am saying you should know of course... ;)

You can honestly have my yellow Assoss socks. Never been used - was a freebie at the Argus Expo. Or if anybody else wants them ...

The only Assos thing I own is a pair of socks. Oh, and a coffee mug and towel.

Thanks for the offer. If I lived around the corner I'd pop over and grab them for sure as my two pairs of Qhubeka socks are in a constant cycle through the washing machine and onto the wash line, but logistics may not make is feasible.

Forgot my socks on a MTB weekend away the other day. Rode in my Woolies black office socks. Made absolutely no difference to my riding, my level of comfort or endurance.
