Thought id document my bike build. Im currently waiting for my XL Morewood Sukuma Frame, which is on its way to the country. For those of you who dont know about this Frame it is Morewood's new split pivot 150mm AM/Enduro offering.

I will post pics as soon as i get the frame, and the build process. So far Ive got most of the build kit sitting at home, a couple more parts and it will be good to go.

Whats cool is that I have sourced most of the stuff brand new off the hub.

Here my parts so far.

Im also busy building a new AM/Enduro trail will post pics at various stages and hopefully me riding the finished Sukuma on it in a month or so.

Is that bike eventually going to arrive at the end of the month as I have a friend who has been on the list since the day the LBS was taking names and deposits for the frame ... I feel for the guy who is still so amped for the frame ... even after waiting for so long!

He really deserves the frame now.

yeah, there was a guy on the Morewood FB group who ordered one and because the wait has been longer than he expected, he had to cancel his riding holiday

I hear the PYGA's haven’t been rolling out either. Wonder what’s up in the industry? Over promise and under deliver seems to be the norm, but I am sure these guys are facing challenges we are not aware of. Cant be easy

I chatted to a PYGA representative last week and the frames have been pushed out by about 3-4 weeks due to the tollerances not being up to Pat's standards on the frames. The clients who have paid up front for their frames will have their frames air freighted to SA once the manufacturer has completed them in order to get it to the paying Clients ASAP.
