Hi there,

I am looking at buying a new dual mnt bike.

The fuji outland 2.0 is in my price range, but I do not know anything about this bike!

Can anyone give me some advice.

I am a female cyclist and 1.7cm tall,so I am looking at a "small" !!! ???

From what I can see online it looks like a small might be the right size for you. But I would suggest, regardless of the bike you end up going for, you go for a fit and a quick spin to make sure it's the right size. Brand's size curve and fit differ so i't always best to give a bike a spin.

As far as advice goes it will help to give us an indication of your budget. There are LOTS of good buys out there. Fuji is a good brand, but unfortunately they don't have a big footprint locally so 2nd hand value might be an issue one day.

Solomons has the 26' 2012 Fuji Outland 2.0 for R13000.00,

If you were taller i would go for the Fuji Outland 29 1.0 which is on special for the same price.

Hi Alison

I just bought a new 29er MTB. I was looking at the usual suspects i.e Scott Scale, Momsen, Silverback, etc but then I saw the Cannondale Flash and I fell in love. I got the Alloy Flash 1 for just over R21000, I am 1.75 and the medium fits like a glove. I am more comfortable on it than on my 26" medium Scott.

Good luck

Silverback Mercury 29er. Elite if budget allows, or Comp as a value alternative.

EDIT: I'm 1.72m and ride a medium Silverback Storm. At 1.70, you might have to go for a small. Ride both a medium and a small before deciding.
