Windbreaker Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 On the topic of holding up the traffic. I was cycling past the Cp Pt gate yesterday and there were two idiots holding up traffic. For those of you that know the Smits & Cp Pt gate bit the queue was all the way from before the bend of the Smits climb to about 300m past the gate & hawkers. These inconsiderate f**king baboons were HAVING SEX in the middle of the road and weren't moving for anyone. How inconsiderate is that!!!! I'm surprised someone hasn't posted a complaint about them too. Â

I know them and i know the road they are riding on as the pic was taken.  BMC he will be back 2weeks before the Argus...just join in a training ride when his here on a Saturday again then, normally 8h30 Giovannis green point.Â

butafly Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 the bit of raod past the CBay police station is the narrowest but then it widens a bit and has a few bends. if cars are parked next the curb thenthe road can be narrow. if u know the road common sense tell u to ride single file until u hit the wide hard shoulder. wide enough to ride 3 breast allthe way to Hout Bay.

widget Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 Get your facts straight Shaunh - dont ASSUME I was driving and taking the picture - read the post first and you will see there were 4 (yes four) people in the car. ............and actually the driver - my wife - DID NOT TAKE THE SHOT. A double decker bus has no OPTION but to use up the road, thats its size and there are NO OPTIONS. Cyclists riding two abreast in the middle of the road HAVE OPTIONS - you cant compare the two.  Â
