Rain on weekends or skydiving on a good day and being left with a rainy day to ride in (and didn't ride). Broken back spoke 25Km in didn't help my cause either...... but I pushed through and finished. Not a good time though G-Man has been working hard at it and it shows. He has a more structured program and goes out weekday mornings. He is strong now Think I just need to apply a bit of Rule #5. Edited September 17, 2012 by Tiny K

I would say it is a bit of both, but training mainly, the wheels felt fantastic, they are amazingly stiff, no flex at all! I think the wind coming from all directions as you turn defenitely made it interesting. the paardeberg circuits must be one of the hardest routes to race on.to average 38-40 kph for that course means the standard of racing is high. This is my first time I raced it, and I really enjoyed it, it was very hard but the rolling hills made it awesome. defenitely one of the most challenging courses I ever ridden. well done Thanks, havn't seen you cycling for a while?
