I'm a bit disappointed in the shorter distance for the Lady Loch race. I would've thought we could do around 8 laps or 100km.

 

The Lady Loch Circuit race will be taking place Sunday 30 September 2012 at the Florida Farm Stall starting at 7am. Below please find a route description, distances and directions to the venue.

 

Route description

 

 

Start: In front Florida Farm Stall (R45)

Turn Right on Lady Loch Rd / Wellington

Straight Past Lady Loch bridge

Caution: Haas Kraal Rd intersection on Right

Turn Left at T Junction, R45 Paarl

Continue straight until Lady Loch Rd and turn Left for another Loop

Finish: One the last lap continue straight past Lady Loch road

Finish Line 400m after the turn off

Turn Left into Florida Farm Stall

I thought it was an error in the email. wtf? 56km? i hope its farking hard...

same situation....

 

Killarney is flat....and only an hour..."how hard can it be?"

 

Still only max 8 guys doing the racing in the bunch then the rest complain it is too short or not hard enough.... :eek: B)

when you chat with the guys after the race...from Elites right through to Masters

 

not complaining...the shorter the better...not fit enough for longish races!!! :unsure:

I get you, but was just saying that this is a road spring league and not a kermesse or criterium league. How much development does a young elite get with doing 56km road races in the Western Cape?

 

But it's so nice in the bunch...no wind to contend with, drafting up the rollers...

maybe they're expecting the attacks to be more fast and furious. its always hard if you go off the front...

hi there, doing the engin dynamic for the first time, can anyone tell me where i can get a profile of the long route, i know there is the climb at riebeek but i have no idea what the last few rolling hills are like towards the end, somebody told me they are like the last three at Die Burger, can anyone help?
