And to the others, my humble apologies for using the sacred name. My aim was to create a ride for everyone (ok MTBers) who could meet up, have a chilled ride (pros and noobs like me) and a couple of laughs and some beers.

Thats the plan - going to try riding this weekend and see how my knee copes. If it's ok I will definitely join you guys

Good point - Could be a problem... However, I don't see millions of people joining. I would hope for 20 but could be less.

 

I don't want to steal thunder from the womans day ride, so will start planning after that.

I reckon it is a bit like organising your wedding: choose a venue or a date (or both) and then everything else will sort itself out. But I don't think I can come to your ride, now that we are starting to cycle with other people...

I rode Modders the day she opened. The virgin trail was a bit soft undertyre. I hear it is a lot better now...
