Start at the Lord Charles ? Or maybe the interchange centre at Builders, loads of parking. Head along Strand beach road and then head on back through Somerset village, past the Old Bridge Tavern?

 

Slow ride, get the families involved ? We have 4 cycle shops, 3 or 4 cycling clubs, surely we could make it work ?

I was thinking along those lines. Not sure what you would call it.

 

Laps at Louresnford caters for the fast and harcore. Would be better to do something for the whole family and a great evening out on the bike.

I think more like a moonlight mass idea would work.

 

Although, stealing people away from the event in the City dilutes the impact of the whole idea. While I'm keen not to have to drive into town and have a local moonlight mass, as a cycling community it's probably better that we support the one in Cape Town.
