This is a much nicer route then last year in my opinion... Combines the best stages of 2006 with the best stages of 2007 nicely.

The old vissershok stage and the new helshoogte stage is great for spectators... while the bainskloof and franschoek/du toits kloof stages were by far my favourite as a participant...

I reckon its a really nice route, those of you lucky enough to be riding are in for a treat...

Prologue - 5.5km

Stage 1 - 105km

Stage 2 - 179.5km

Stage 3 - 174.5km

Stage 4 - 148.55km

Stage 5 - 5.5km (Hillclimb TT)

Gonna be a tough one, since last year's longest stage was only 129km. Should be fun, though.

Team Tekton will continue with an U23 team this year, but as you know for some unknown, but silly reason (according to me) - it is also the Tri nations on the track - so some of our riders will have to make a choice between the 2 events as we focus on road and track - anybody interested to ride as a guest rider and who's club will not be riding - please send me a PM with a short CV so that we can keep an eye out for you!

Marvulli and Risi (World Madison Champs) did a 160km training ride the Friday morning of the Tri-Nations.

Our riders not allowed on their bikes. So in short our track riders lose a whole week of hard riding cause they got to "rest" for the Tri-Nations.

And then we want to send them to the World Track champs at end of March not properly prepared..

Someone needs to shake the box and think about reality.

Giro riders do start the Argus as an invitational group at the head of the Argus, thus making for a single day race with totally different dynamic.

Could actually make for some more exciting racing!!!
