My previous car's setup:

Full Lightning Audio system (except 1 amp)

15" 400W RMS Subs x 2 (LA Strike)

350W RMS monoblock for each sub (LA Bolt)

Full split system at the front (75W RMS) (LA Strike)

Co-axils at the back (45W RMS) (LA Bolt)

4-Way amp rated at 75W each channel (Camtec)

Sadly, the whole system is now standing in my room gathering dust.

I guess I should try selling it sometime. It really is a great system.

Currently running DLS Ultimate series speakers and amplifiers in my car fed from an Alpine Status F#1 head unit. Very simple system at the moment compared to last years 10 channel stereo system I owned.

House is Rotel RSP-1068 feeding a RB985 power amp. Powers my DLS T3 speakers in the lounge.

Strictly not a reference stereo system but really really good. Lounge's layout is **** anyways so no use spending big on it now.

Dream system is a pair of Martin Logan Summit X's powered by a DLS Amplifier One and CD One.

Other option would be to power them by a little something built by Oom Schalk.

I have Vantages, they are super sweet.

Luckily, I have some of oom Schalk's units, he is busy finishing off my new pre-amp.

I sadly have not upgraded my home system in 20 odd years...it used to be adequate and i sadly have not used it enough in the past 5 or 6 years to warrant spending money on an upgrade. My music is mostly listened to on earphones at work or in my car on my ipod. I am not much of an audiophile so clarity is not not a major factor for me. Thats said my home system is:

Nad 3020i

Nad 3?? turntable

Nad Cd player (c model i think)

Wharfdale speakers

as i say all about 20 -25 yrs old

NAD 3020i was my first love. Together with Boston speakers. Wow, that was back in 1989.

My setup is also approaching 20 years old now and needs an upgrade but at the time it wasn't bad given that I had little money:

Denon PMA250III Amp

Denon DCD825 CD player

Technics SL7 direct drive turntable

B&W DM602 speakers

It was worth around R65000 before I scaled down. Worth around R35000 now.

Wow, serious money for car audio. I still have a Phoenix Gold M25 amp lying about in my cupboard. Never installed. Bought it then never installed it since I never had a car worthy of it.
