Love the title change. Hahahaha!!!

Open invite to all roadies - when you see me at 94.7, and trust me, you will see me (or my bike rather) , pull in for a quick and obligation free hug.

That day I might look like roadie, but don't be fooled by the cover...can I still get a hug tough?

Is that really the point of this thread? Do you have proof? If it is ok to post David Cramer rooiveld skoene then surely its also ok to state that while the OP was gaining evidence of inconsiderate cyclists, he was actually inconsiderate, endangered the lives of others, and broke the law. Why do we need to start a new thread to state that? Is it against forum rules? If so please complain to the moderators.

No its not ok to post David Kramer's shoes, ever, anywhere. Those are legendary and should not be made fun of. Lets open a new thread for that as well. Maybe I ll complain about that as well to the moderators.

Karma, sorry man, but it seems you are the vark in die verhaal according to some hubbers.

Anyway, ride savely this weekend guys. And take photos

Did not take the time to read all 21 pages but what struck me on the first page is the attack on the OP and people trying to justify why 2 wrongs (of which one was assumed and proven incorrect) made it OK. Simple facts:

We all want to ride abreast to chat about crap while we are suppose to be riding unfortunately the roads and road users does not permit this

Everybody is equal on the road but some are more equal than others and equality had a direct relationship to size and speed hence the small you are the more unequal you are so stradling a pipe is not the equalizing factor that you may think it is

Taking ownership of the road because you can does not make you equal, it make you stupid or, if you survive, lucky. The stupidest thing I have ever heard somebody say is by owning the road you 'force' others to notice you. You are on a few pieces of pipe/plastic with skin tight lycra and a build in knob! How forcefull do you think you are?

The fact the you get lucky while disobeying traffic laws on the bike does not mean you enforced anything. What you don't see is that the driver who was pissed of by previous riders like you takes it out on the innocent i.e. somebodies child just riding to school

I suspect that riding or running on the road is so *** that they wouldn't mind being run over to put them out of their misery. lol. Or it's Darwin in action. Pity about the wife and kids but Darwin can be cruel. Ask the dodo. It's not so much about the laws as about common sense. One of those little sayings "I'll defend my right of way to the death".

Three things:

Dangle I prefer creamy mayonnaise with my fries.

There are only three types of people here on the East Ront: Those who can count, and those who can't...

Karma is not a Beeatch, as I have already asked him.

But more importantly, where the hell is CEC as I want to buy some of those red shoes???

HA! nooooo I'll be on my 29er....no road bike here.

I did a 4:20 last year, so a sub 4 would be good for me.

I'll be watching the single file and enforcing it with a whip.

Have you ever ridden a roadbike?

Or are you one of those guys who just bought a mtb a few years back because your friends had mtb's and its all you know?

Just asking, as i remember it being the other way around 10 years ago - everybody was a roadie and proud of it.

Funny how things change.

I believe every cyclist should have a mtb, roadbike and ss. And enjoy all 3 as they are all awesome.
