rouxtjie Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Some input from guys that have done the event will be great. Pro's and Con's of the three will be great....
rouxtjie Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) Ok I will start Full 9 daysPros: I got to do the "whole nine yards"...more riding, freestate hospatilityCons: More Expensive...less scenic(I am guessing here...haven't done it) 6 daysPros: Get to do the best parts(berg and bush + sani), cheaperCons: Less riding than 9day option, 3 daysPros: Cheapest...great hospatilityCons: No sani..no berg and bush Edited October 1, 2012 by rouxtjie
Lukep Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 IMHO the 6 day event cant be beaten, for the following reasons (in no specific order)1. Berg and Bush back to back with Sani2C= the best route in the world ito lekker riding (the Epic is still the King but I dont think many people see the Epic as a jol they see it as a challange, where the J2C is both a challange and a jol)2. It is the perfect amount of time 3 days is lekker 8-9days is too long 6 days is just right3. Days are long but doable4. The price is right for what you get

jaxtun Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Only done the full 9 days..... If you can get the time off it is fabulous and actually relaxing in a weird way - for 9 days you have no worries other than your partner and your bike! If you go solo then you only have to worry about your bike!!!

The full 9 also allows you to get to know the people cycling and living around you and you come away having made some great friendships. rouxtjie 1
