Not a breath of wind here, but strong winds was predicted.That is the Cape for you. Best of luck out there today, guys and gals.
Tubehunter Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 It certainly was not as windy as it could have been! But the cross wind section around 50 odd Kays made it more than tough enough! Wind actually seemed to settle a little as the day went on. Wannabe 1

You and I both dude! Yeah, not sure why people will do DC training along the same route as a race???? Must be locals who didn't want to follow the exact route and/or pay to do the tonner.

Yep, getting there, slowly (frustratingly), but the legs are coming back after a flu riddled winter and more time off than on. Saw Spat out on course just before the cross wind section when I got properly dropped off the back!

Where you wearing black/red/white kit today? I was coming home from out of town, and most of the way back home was in the opposite direction of the race route. And I thought I may have recognized you. Must say, it was actually really cool seeing all the peeps out racing! Made me wish I was out there too! Definitely next year though!
