stringbean Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Just want to let the fellow hubbers know of the passing of John Simpson this morning.He will be well kown to the masters who race,especially around Cape Town.John raced for many years until his first heart attack and bypass.He will be missed by all.Thoughts go to his wife and children at this moment.RIP John.
ccc2 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 John raced in the juniors for City Cycling & Athletic Club in the 60's , he revived his interest in cycling in the 1990's and was the City CC chairman from about 1998 to 2001.a true gentleman.RIP
