It is quite an adjustment the first time you take a 29er out. I was fortunate enough to keep my 26er dualy and build a 29er hardtail. Love both and both have their place on the trails.

 

I did find with the 29er that my weight needs to be back and a bit up-out-of-the-saddle to really get the most out of the bike in the singletrack. Can't comment on climbing since it's an SS.
