So round about 12 today I got my seeding/ batch email all 94 of them. Now the question I have got is how can a person who is rated 8 th in the race series and in my last race @ down & dirty I came 10 th in my age group ( senior men ) . How the hell can I go from B batch to F batch in 1 race . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other issue I have is now I must drive to the registration venu in paulshof to sort out there stuff up as in the email it states no emails or phone calls queries will be entertained. Now the other thing is who is going to pay for my wasted time & let alone the 100km round trip

Then the other thing I train damn hard to get the results I get and for a good seeding ie 3:55 am training times surely they could get act together I am very miff about this but will see tomorrow. I guess we are only human but still damn miff about it aaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggg'''!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rant over

I mean how the hell does this system work maybe it's some type of bee where the more experienced riders make way for the lesser experienced riders but who knows for sure

I've got a feeling its to do with the F-up at the down and dirty where MUCH slower riders were send around while slightly faster riders were caught for up to 30min with the broken bridge, I know my seeding took quite a bit of a dive because of that result.

unless they null and voided those results?

But guys this is a service we pay for & we are not getting the proper service, and why should faster riders be penilised for other people's stuff ups cause at the down & dirty I was also affected as I had to dismount & jump across the stream too like 90% of the other riders I fact I cycled like 30m away from the bridge and found a gap and made a plan I lost a couple of minutes so I really don't think it was because of that well at least I hope so

Oh I just checked my race index on Saseeding and it's a lot better from a 62 to a 41 so well impressed but still very confused by this monumental balls up. And by the looks of things there are many out there in Hubber land with the same issue

Do a search on the forums on rants about SASeeding, take a number and get in line...I have come to accept that the index cannot be taken seriously and I do the Trialseekers for fun, nothing else. There are more than enough truly serious MTB sprint races in and around Gauteng and I, for one will choose my participating Advendurance events with great reservation next year.

Hi guys, sas batched the riders in much smaller batches for van gaalens. I mean 200 in a batch was just too much for even an open race like trailseeker #3. So, with so much single track one must understand that batches are smaller. Everybody can't start in A batch?

My point is, surely they are trying to clear up the bottleneck issue by making the batches smaller?

And this smaller batch info you have comes from where exactly?
