My rear suspension on my merida is close to my bb, i need to remove the bb hollowtech I bought a spanner like this http://www.parktool.com/uploads/thumbnails/uploads/products/4e7b2686760ec5d0751383e8bb028054c61ffa43_198x190.jpgOnly problem is the wall does not clear the rear trailing arm. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/sites/default/files/imagecache/product-holder/product_images/11f2.jpgthis is what I suspect I need. Swift01 Posted October 29, 2012 Share Just be careful with the cut out BB tool like in your bottom picture. They don't fit as snug as the top picture or the socket and tend to eat into the BB outer shell cups especially if they are on tight.
