Hi there fellow Hubbers

Just need some advice on a pair of pedals I want to buy.

Ive been looking at the Look range, specifically the EASY, PLUS and the Classic.

Now im open to other brands, just saw these first.

Now the cheapest being the Easy and the more expensive being the Classic(R700), I dont want to spend more than that on a pedal.

The Easy doesnt have spring adjustment, is this really necessary/important? I have never adjust the pedals on the other bike.

Advice on what to get would be appreciated.

Thanks

Marx.

I had a pair of Looks on my bike. They lasted 8 months before my foot came out and I am krippel now of almost two weeks!

Replaced them with a pair of Crank Brother Candy pedals. They are around R600-R700 in the shops and they work perfect thus far.

My look road pedals are the best pedals I have used and I've used them for a few years now. I would buy the EASY ones if I were you.

On the mountain bike I tried some crank brothers a few times and settled with Shimano SPD for durability.

Shimano Pedals are one of the easiest and cheapest options out there....and falls within you price range

Also look at Beepop, they work well....but you might need to modify your shoe to fit the cleat

I ride Shimano XT pedals on my MTB because they are bullet proof. Why don't you look at Shimano road pedals? The 105 version is light and very reliable, been riding them on my road bike for two years with no problem.

That said, I have just ordered a pair of Look Keo carbon blades for my Cannondale. Just because they are sexy!
